Chamber Luncheon - October 2021
Join us for the October Chamber Luncheon, sponsored by Kemper Cognitive Wellness. The Rocky River Chamber will welcome guest speaker Kevin McClelland, Corporate Communication Specialist at World Group.
McClelland will be presenting "Why It’s Too Late To Go Christmas Shopping: Supply Chain in 2020 & 2021." Wondering why it’s so tough to get on-time delivery these days? Thinking about going Christmas shopping soon? Curious what’s going on at the ports and rail yard across the country? Come find out with World Group’s Kevin McClelland. Headquartered in Rocky River, World Group operates four different companies that each represent a part of the supply chain. Kevin will provide an overview of the ‘whiplash’ effect that has taken hold of the supply chain, specifically in the United States, and how this whiplash is affecting the economy and small business owners across the country.
The Rocky River Chamber plans to gather in person at Westwood Country Club for this luncheon; if changes are made, it will be based on restrictions from the Ohio Department of Health.
Doors open at 11:30AM for networking, lunch and presentation will start at 12:00PM.
Kevin McClelland is the corporate communications specialist for World Group, a transportation and logistics company headquartered in Rocky River, Ohio. He tackles all internal communication efforts, including employee engagement, executive support, and project management. World Group has been named a Top Workplace for Northeast Ohio for the last two years, and has recently opened multiple new warehouse and truck terminal facilities. In his free time, he enjoys grilling, trying new recipes, and spending time with his wife & dog.
