JA in a Day

The Rocky River Chamber is honored to partner with Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland to present our members with a volunteer opportunity! 

On Friday, January 6, the Chamber will be participating in a "JA in a Day" program at  Puritas Constellation School. We are looking for 26 volunteers to team-teach in classrooms ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade. You can sign up with a partner, or just yourself and be paired with someone. Either way, you will be making a difference in the life of a child!

Volunteers should be prepared for a two-part commitment:
1.) JA Training - this will be held virtually on Wed., Jan. 4 at 12PM; it will be 30-45 minutes.
2.) JA in a Day at Puritas - the volunteer commitment is from 8:30-11:30AM/12:30PM [depending on grade].

Junior Achievement’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their experience.
