Packing Party at The Gathering Place

The Rocky River Chamber is excited to partner with The Gathering Place for a unique volunteer opportunity. The Gathering Place, a non-profit organization offering support for anyone on a journey with cancer.

One fundraising effort made by The Gathering Place is their "Shop for the Place" - with two locations in Warrensville Heights and Westlake, Shop for the Place offers a curated selection of resale furnishings. Shop for the Place relies solely on donated pre-owned, high-quality furniture and home accessories. Thanks to very generous community, merchandise is always changing, and every shopping experience is very unique. Shoppers will find a huge selection of furniture, artwork, lamps, and chandeliers, rugs and so much more!

As the Shop for the Place grows, they are relocating to the lower level of their current building, and the Rocky River Chamber is helping pack the home accessories for their move! No heavy lifting involved, just careful hands to pack-up small items. We will leave the heavy items for the professionals! 

Please join us on Thursday, September 2 for our Packing Party! We will have two shifts, participate in one or both - either 10AM-12PM or 12PM-2PM at The Gathering Place, located at 25425 Center Ridge Road in Westlake. 

Our help will mean so much to The Gathering Place and success of the westside "Shop for the Place." Every sale made supports The Gathering Place's mission to support, educate and empower individuals and families currently coping with the impact of cancer through the FREE programs and services we offer.
